Meta aramid is high heat or high-temperature resistance, good abrasion, and alkali-resistant material. It works up to a continuous operating temperature of nearly 200°C and can take serge temperature in suitable conditions up to 210°C. Meat aramid filter media is not resistant to hydrolysis and can get easily rotten due to acid vapors.

Meta Aramid is used in the application Used in asphalt, quarrying, lime, foundry, cement, steel plants, aluminum recycling, gypsum, and chemical industries.

Amrit Filtration Equipments manufactures Meta Aramid Filter Bags which use a different grade of meta-aramid filter media which can range from 400 gsm to 600 gsm and can be used with meta-aramid or glass fiber scrim. The efficiency of this bag can be designed at 15mg/mm3 to 50mg/mm3 depending on the plant condition and the particle size of the dust.

The filter bags made in meta-aramid nonwoven felt can be made as per customer specification from sizes ranging from 4 inches diameter to 10 inches diameter and lengths from 0.5 meters up to even 10 meters long.

we usually prefer to stitch meta-aramid filter bags with meta-aramid sewing yarn only but depending on the site conditions we can also use PTFE (Poly tetra Fluro Ethylene ) sewing yarn as well.

The usual thickness of this filter media ranges from 1.8 mm to 2.2 mm.
