Filter Bags For Induction Furnace
An electric furnace where the heat is passed by induction heating of metal. Its capacity for heat range from 1kg to 1tons. It can be used to melt steel, copper, and iron.
As compared to other melting processes the induction furnace is a well-controlled and clean process.
Many steel and iron industries used these types of induction furnaces. It consists non-conductive crucible surrounded by a copper wire that holds the charges of metal to melt it.
An alternating current flows through the wire. The coil creates a rapidly reversing magnetic field that affects the metal. The magnetic field creates eddy currents and circular electric currents inside the metal. These currents are caused by electromagnetic induction.
During the smelting process smoke, dust, emissions, and other pollutants are released which are harmful to our environment.
To protect our environment you have to use dust collectors also known as baghouse or bag filters in your induction furnace during the melting process.
Role Of Dust Collector In Induction Furnace
Dust collectors play a vital role in induction furnaces. They separate ash, sand, and larger particulate-like char from the flue gases.
But all this happens with the help of dust collector bags used in the dust collectors.
If you have a dust collector then, you should clean your filter bags at the same time.
How to clean Filter Bags
When the dust collector works. dust particles will stick up on the outside of the filter bag. In that case, you need high pressure of air is required which removes your dust particles and cleans your bag.
It happens when you used Pulse Valve in your dust collectors with accurate time.
They do the job of acting like a switch for compressed air in the cleaning of bags of dust for the Pulsejet bag filters.
According to your dust collector working operations, these filter bags need a replacement every one to three years.
If you are thinking that you should clean the bag out of dust collectors and put it again in it, then it is not the right idea. It will increase the tragedy for your plant, workers, or your equipment which is a huge cost for you.
In this case, you need to replace your bags.
From Where to Buy these Dust Collector Filter Bags
Amrit Filtration Equipments manufacture these dust collector filter bags used in Induction Furnace. Our Filter bags are made in all standard and custom sizes ranging from Polytetrafluoroethylene 100 mm to 200 mm diameter and length ranging from 1000 mm to 12000 mm. Our filter bags are made in different fibers like Polyester, Meta Aramid, Polyphenylene sulfide, Polytetrafluoroethylenehide (PPS), Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Glassfiber, Polyimide, etc
Our Filter bags made from different felts can endure different properties and temperature ranges.
If your induction furnace temperature is less than 180 degrees then you have to use a polyester filter, if your furnace temperature is greater than 140 Degree then you have to use PPS, Meat Aramid, and Glass Fiber filter bags.
We also provide Pulse Valve and manufacture Cages Used in the dust collector baghouse.
